For those people not from the Kelowna area, the name “Rotary Club of Kelowna Landmark”
makes a lot more sense when you know that the Landmark District is a complex of seven
office towers that is home to thousands of young professionals. We meet at one of the
Landmark buildings and many of our members work here, as well.
Rotary is an amazing organization, but at Kelowna Landmark, we like to think we’ve
developed a pretty good model for a true Work/Life balance.
Things like:

-Convenient Meeting time — 5 to 6 PM on Wednesdays; borrow a little bit of
worktime and a little bit of home time for one important hour
 -Convenient Meeting location — we meet in one of the Landmark buildings, so if you
work at Landmark (as may of us do), it’s an easy commute
- No added cost for meals, like most other Service clubs
- Monthly fee, if you prefer it to the customary annual fee
 -We try to make it easy to for our members to take part in projects that help our
communities, both locally and internationally
- Got a “pet project” or cause that’s important to you? We can help get behind you on
that!
- Don’t forget about fun! We’re all about organizing activities like group hikes, and
sometimes we may or may not end up at a Pub!
- And remember our “tag line” – Casual, but Committed!
